Sanborn, John A., 81, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, and retired Cessna press operator, passed away Feb. 9, 2011. He was born to Alonzo and Sylvia (Walker) Sanborn Nov. 3, 1929 in Wichita and graduated from Fredonia High School. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m., Sun. at Hillside West, 2929 W. 13th St. North, Wichita. Services will be 2 p.m., Mon., Feb. 14, at Grace Baptist Church with interment to follow at White Chapel. John is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judith; children Pamela (Mark) Sanborn-Jim, John M. Sanborn, Randall (Patti) Sanborn, Scott (Elizabeth) Sanborn, Brothers Melvin (Betty) and Jack (Diana) Sanborn, sister Doris (Bruce) Nicholson, sister-in-laws Pat (Don) Hale and Mina Sanborn, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
