

Marian was a faithful, cherished presence in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Marian enjoyed her retirement from being a bookkeeper to being a beloved grandma, and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed traveling with family.
She loved sewing and quilting, many have cherished quilts or pillows she often gifted.
Marian found accomplishment in her role of treasurer for her church. Faithfully attending church, powwows, and fundraisers as her health allowed.
She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, especially because she never missed a moment with them that she didn't have to. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Many have heavy hearts knowing she is gone, but are grateful that she is now with her Lord and savior.
Marian is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dave Lux; sons Ron James, Kirk Stanton; siblings Bill Dawdy, Sylvia Dawdy, Earlene Young.
She is survived by her children, Cyndy James, Tony (Lynn) Perkins, Mike (Christine) Perkins, Becca Stanton, and bonus children, Rob Lux, Kris (Mike) Tolle; grandchildren Rob (Donica) James, Jessica (Xavier) Louis-McGhee, Ryan Perkins, Aaron (Courtney) Oakman, Crystal (Mike) Cuypers, Ella Perkins, Ana Stanton, Grey Stanton, Chrys Stanton, Brittany Lux, Ashley Tolle, Breanna Tolle, Tyler (Melody) Tolle; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara (Frank) Ruggiero, David (Lorraine) Dawdy, and Gilbert Young; and numerous loving nieces and nephews and many other family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 4-7 PM at Hillside Funeral Home West, located at 2929 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203. A graveside service will be held at Kechi Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside Avenue, Park City, Kansas 67219 on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate in her memory to Wichita Indian United Methodist Church youth group.
