Born on May 28, 1932 died on January 7, 2021 at the age of 88 of a sudden heart attack. Harold is survived by his loving wife Jean (nee Goebel) of almost 65 years. Harold was the proud father to Steve (Lori) Yensen and grandfather to Ashley (Vinnie), Krystina (Jimmy) and Scott; Dave (Connie) Yensen, grandfather to Nicole (Grigas), Andrew (Elma); Karen (Gord) Shomphe, grandfather to Gillian (Phil) and Zach. He was a wonderful great-grandfather to Shaila, Kiara, Ajay, Ember, Chara, Selene and Sawyer. Harold was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ethel, sisters Edna Brewster, Erna Doud, Dorothy Bender, Audrey Diemert and brothers Allan, Gerald (Jerry) and Lloyd. Harold is also fondly remembered by his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Harold was a long-time employee of J.M. Schneiders and member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was an avid fisherman, loved his time at the various cottages he and Jean owned over the years. He loved helping his children over the years doing renovations and working on cars. He was a treasure to all who knew him.
