Dana John Giulian, born March 19, 1951 to Waldo and Ruth Giulian in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, passed away May 9, 2010 in Houston, Texas. Dr. Giulian was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Wendt; twin sons, David and William Giulian; brother, Gary Giulian; sister, Valory Giulian, and other family and friends. Dana was a dedicated researcher for Baylor College of Medicine, studying dementia associated with HIV and Alzheimer’s.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77004. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
