  • Christopher M Farrugio

    General Manager

    Through his work in the funeral industry, Christopher has compassionately supported families throughout Fairfield County since 1998. He became a licensed funeral director in Connecticut in 2000. In addition to his duties as a general manager and funeral director, he is a proud father to his daughters. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Stamford and is a past chapter president. He has worked closely with the organization's scholarship program and the national Rotary dictionary program, sits on the board of trustees for the Stamford Rotary Trust Fund and helped implement the chapter’s Operation Warm Community Heroes program, allowing the chapter to donate coats to local families in need. He is also proud to serve on the board of directors for the Fairfield County House.

    Christopher is a certified presenter for the "Your Life, Your Legacy: Plan to Make it Right" program as well as the "Funeral Customs and Rituals" hospice program. He is proud to be a part of his Stamford funeral home, receiving the Pursuit of Excellence award from the National Funeral Directors Association every year since 2016. This award, recognizing exceptional business standards and proficiency of funeral service, is bestowed on less than 1% of all funeral homes nationally and is a clear reflection of Christopher’s compassionate support of his families and community.

  • Melissa B Fahey

    Funeral Director

    A 2003 graduate of Briarwood College, Melissa became a licensed funeral director in 2004. She is very passionate about funeral service and regularly attends conferences and training on funeral trends, such as green burials and restorative art. Melissa is a member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Her great empathy for families experiencing losses of loved ones drives her superb attention to detail.

    In addition to being a dedicated funeral director, Melissa is a Connecticut firefighter and beekeeper. She and her wife live in Stratford and have one daughter. She enjoys Civil War history and collecting medical antiques.

  • Sahara Elaine Farrugio


    Sahara Farrugio came to the East Coast several years ago to start her funeral service career. After becoming a funeral director, she went on to become a certified funeral celebrant. This extra training gave her expertise in composing and performing ceremonies, as well as the ability to host services that reflect that wishes and values of loved ones. She now serves our team as an advanced planning counselor, combining her love for funeral service and experience as a funeral director with the ability to help men and women of all ages work through the preplanning process.

    Sahara has had the privilege of working with families across Fairfield County in her many roles. She travels throughout the area to present educational programs on the benefits of preplanning and is an expert on Title 19 as it relates to funeral planning. She has made it her mission to make end of life an approachable and safe subject. She is a part of public forums like Death Café, where community members are able to come together to explore the topic of death in a safe environment. Sahara is also a board member of the Connecticut Green Burial Ground, helping her state move closer to offering more environmentally friendly burial options.

  • Hanah Ayaka Kosaka

    Funeral Director

    Hanah Kosaka has been a licensed funeral director for 4 years and is licensed in Connecticut, New York and California. Originally from San Diego, Calif., she now resides in Westchester County. Hanah obtained an associate’s degree in mortuary science from Nassau Community College. She feels it's very rewarding to serve families and know that she fulfilled their needs in celebrating the life of their loved one. In her free time, Hanah enjoys traveling, skydiving and spending time with her family.

  • Rick Romagnoli

    Funeral Director

    Rick Romagnoli has worked as a funeral director for more than two decades. He grew up in New York and proudly served families there for over 18 years. A little over 2 years ago, he became a licensed funeral director in Connecticut and joined our team. Throughout his career, Rick has maintained his dedication to service and commitment to excellence. The most rewarding part of his job is developing relationships with his families and knowing that he made the process easier for them. Outside of work, Rick can be found at the gym, playing softball and tennis, and bowling. Rick is also a proud father to his 2 daughters.

  • Amanda Leigh Kus

    Funeral Director

    Amanda Leigh Kus began her career with our team in 2017. She is a 2018 graduate of the late Lincoln College of New England. In 2014, while still in high school, she interned at a funeral home, which assured her that this was the path that she would take in life.

    Amanda's goal is for every family to feel as though they and their loved one have received the highest level of respect and care during a very challenging time. She is willing to share her knowledge and work with families to ensure that services are a meaningful celebration of life. Born and raised in Fairfield County, Amanda has the expertise to serve families from near and far.

    She currently lives in the Bronx with her partner and their pets, Venus and Baby. When she is not working with her team, Amanda enjoys traveling the world, antiquing and sharing a good meal with family and friends.
