It was so great to have Amy here in San Diego.  She was by Angela and Jasmine's side all the time.  She helped support home rennovation in my condo.  Her calm demeanor and smile would bring peace to everyone around her.  Her love for Jehovah was so inspiring.  She shaped the life of one of the most amazing women I know...Angela her granddaughter.  We look forward to seeing you and your beloved husband in the new system.  Desire'e

Although Sis. Barton was in my congregation(RTP) for a short time,her love for the ministry and radiant christian personality truly encouraged me.I shall treasure these memories and her warm smile.

One word comes to mind when I think of Sister Barton -- Classy.  She always looked and conducted herself like a lady.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and ALWAYS had a smile on her face.  I'll miss her visits to Outer Loop, Louisville cong.  But through her daughter Charlotte, I can still see Amy.  And I look so forward to seeing Amy and Wade together again soon!  My love and prayers go out to the family.

Amy was such a sweet person to be around. I never remember her saying anything negative. She always showed genuine interest in anyone she engaged. Her zeal for serving Jehovah leaves a lasting impression on me and many others. May our memories of her comfort the family and all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her

Amy and Wade were such an important part of the Beaver Dam congregation for so long it just isn't the same with out them! Amy's smiles and hugs always greeted us when we walked in! And when she looked at Wade...no doubt he was the love of her life! I remember being in service with her once when she stopped to pick up a penny off the ground and said she always put them in the contribution box at the Kingdom Hall. She went on to say just think, if all ofJehovah's
 people picked up every penny they found how much it would add up to in a year! I never see a coin on the ground without thinking of her! Till the resurrection we will keep her close in our memories an know that Jehovah longs for the time when he can bring her back to us!

I can't say Amy without wade either. They truly loved one another that's for sure. Wade married me and Jerry. Amy was such a sweetie. I haven't been able to see her too often but when I did see her at the assembly or at the kingdom hall in Beaverdam she always gave me a big hug. I know she'll be missed. I remember her zeal for the ministry and her great love for people. We will see her and wade very soon. There are so many that are loved sleeping right now. Thanks to Jehovah we'll see them very soon.

Amy and Wade will be missed but not forgotten. We all loved them very much. They really helped the Beaver Dam, Cong. in many ways. Both are Very hard workers in service to building the Kingdom Halls. 
Amy always loved helping friends finish their meals even when she isn't hunger she had her fork ready to help you eat your food. We loved it. Can't wait to see them again.

We are all so very sorry to her about Amy. She has meant so much to us and many others.  I know my parents, Doris and Lawrence Newcom, thought the world of them and we have enjoyed many stories about service and riding together to the book study when they went to Fordsville.  We look forward to seeing her in the paradise. We also know it is hard to lose ones parent/grandparent so close together. There will be moments of tears and feelings lost mixed with knowing that this isn't a permit situation thanks to Jehovah.

I was just called last night about Amy's death....my heart aches...for this woman was the true definantion of what a selfless person is...the love she and her husband ( Wade) showed me..I will never ,ever forget.
They took in in a total stranger, for the most part...just my hearts desire to learn the truth and the love to help me find it and get me out of a dangerous sitiuation at home
I called Amy my "foster mom" and Wade my "foster Dad"
I never saw two people so in love with each other....
when I met my husband Michael Jones...and we fell in love...I wanted our mariage to be patterend after that of Amy and Wade...
Wade preformed our Wedding...what a great day that was.
Untill the resurrection....I long to see Amy and Wade and give them thanks for always LOVING ME and countless other ~

You just can't say Amy with out Wade.  They were Both dear dear friends.  We enjoyed endless hours wt them out in field service.  Most of all their Love for Jehovah and family was prominent in their life.  Not many bro/sis have covered more territory in Ohio Co than Amy/Wade.  Truely a BLESSING for us to have them as friends and benefit from their vast knowledge.  We loved them dearly and want to do our best to be part of Jehovahs Paradise.  In order to greet our dear loved ones.  What a wonderful promise from Jehovah our loving father.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this hard time. I got the pleasure to meet Angela's grandmother last year and she was such a joy to be around, so encouraging  and her love for Jehovah and the ministry was so contacious. I am glad I got the opportunity to meet your grandmother Angela she is truly precious and a gem and will not be forgotten.  I know its never easy to lose a loved one, I would like to say how deeply sorry I am for all of your loses. Please know your all all  in my thoughts and prayers. I know she will be greatly missed. My love of the ministry was inspired by my grandmother.  When I was young she took me out in the ministry with her all the time and then we would go to McDonald's for a chicken nugget happy meal.  She taught me the books of the Bible, helped me memorize various texts from the Bible and we sang Kingdom Songs together all the time.  She made serving Jehovah an absolute joy.  Every day we would sit by the front door for an hour or so before my school bus came and play games like memory or card games like Rummy.   She was my best friend.  Every school break, even if it was one day off, I wanted to spend with my "mammaw" and "pappaw" Barton.  If I was sad she comforted me and when I was happy we rejoiced together.  I never remember a cross word from her, she was always happy and looking for someone to share kingdom truths with.  When she wasn't in the ministry you could find her reading, playing cards or doing cross word puzzles.  She and grandpa enjoyed a meal out together every afternoon and spent peaceful evenings reading, watching tv or attending their Christian meetings.  

To me Grandma Barton was the epitome of the capable wife described at Proverbs 31 describes. She worked hard, and raised 3 wonderful children to love Jehovah, despite the hardships she faced in the beginning.  I learned from her example how to show deep respect for my husband despite the differences we may have, and that sometimes it's your quiet example that impacts others more than words.  She was strong, dependable and had the most tender heart of anyone I've ever known.  I remember as a little girl my Grandpa would always ask her to stop picking up hitch hikers from the side of the road (and she finally did stop), but she would always have to look away when we passed one because it broke her heart to see anyone walking on the side of the road.  She wanted to help everyone.  

The impact on my life that she had is very hard to describe in words and her presence will be sorely missed.  I await eagerly the day when I, along with the rest of the family, can welcome both my grandma and grandpa back with open arms.  To say they are missed is somehow not adequate enough, it's way more than that....
