He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Schroeder; son, Glenn Schroeder and wife Robin of Cary; grandchildren, Christine Pape, and husband Jesse and Bryan Schroeder and Fiancée Jenny; a great grandchild, Aiden Pape.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Walnut St. Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends following the service.
