Beverly Theresa Ierardi

Beverly, known to family and friends as "Bonnie", was born in Boston, MA to the late Dante and Margaret Greco. She was a 1953 graduate of Wellesley High School in Massachusetts, and attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy where she met her soul mate, Mario. Later in life she earned an A.A. degree at Manchester Community College. She was employed by the Town of Manchester as a teacher's assistant for over 20 years.

An avid skier, she skied in many countries and at most US ski mountains. She was a long time member of many ski clubs including the Springfield, Manchester, and Frederick Ski Clubs. Most winter weekends were spent on the mountains with her four young children in tow. Later in life, she skied competitively, and well into her 70s.

A true Italian grandmother, she graciously welcomed everyone to her home and no one left without being fed her delicious cooking. She loved hosting family holiday gatherings, family reunions, neighborhood parties, happy hours, and her legendary "Beat the Winter Blues" parties. In addition to skiing, Bonnie loved spending time at her Cape Cod home, where she and Mario enjoyed biking, kayaking, hiking and entertaining her family and friends. Her capacity for friendship knew no bounds, and people were drawn to her enthusiasm, warmth, and smile along with her zeal for life. She emanated joy, and as a lifelong Catholic she found comfort in her faith.

She was a remarkable wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mario "Guy" lerardi, her son Dante "Danny" lerardi (Emilie), her daughter-in-law, Kathy lerardi, and her brother, Dante Greco II. She is survived by her sisters Diana lerardi of Clinton, CT, and Marjorie Morris of Ware, MA, her children Mario and partner, Carol Rausch, of Oxford, MD, Gemma Smalley (David) of Cary, NC, and Dana of Glastonbury, CT along with her four granddaughters, Katrina Ranjo, Anna Marie DesLauriers, Natalie and Nina Smalley, and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Madison, and Logan Deslauriers. Nieces Patricia Finch and Ami Moreau of East Haddam, CT, Tara Greco of Cataumet, MA and Beth Parent of Belchertown, MA are left to mourn her along with nephews Marc and Michael lerardi of Clinton, CT, Dante Greco Ill of Methuen, MA and Gregory Morris of Ware, MA.
