Catherine Ann Batchelor

Cathy was a long time resident of Green Level, where she lived since childhood. She was a great cook and loved to entertain, making everyone feel at home. She was the life of the party and lived life to the fullest. She always made you laugh with her witty sense of humor and constant jokes. Cathy was a nurturer and loved all people, kids, and animals. She will be deeply missed.

Cathy is now reunited with her father, Jerry Batchelor; grandfathers Joseph Batchelor and Bobby Stone; and her grandmother, Eula Batchelor.

Cathy leaves behind her partner, Emmanuel B. James; children, Celest Victoria Batchelor, Joshua Batchelor , and Jaylyn Emmanuel James Batchelor; mother, Brenda Batchelor; grandmother, Olive Stone; siblings, Tammy L. Batchelor, John O. Batchelor, and wife Cristina, and Jeremy R. Batchelor; nieces and nephews, Melanie, Adam, Austin, Cody and Vaughn; and numerous friends.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Cary. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home.
