Claire Ellen Clapsaddle

Claire was born on March 9, 2015 in Wake County to her parents, Carly Okerfelt and Scott Clapsaddle. Claire could light up a room with her smile and giggle. She loved swinging, Elmo, princesses, and her family. In her 7 years, Claire touched and made an impact on everyone she met.

She is survived by her parents, Carly Okerfelt and Scott Clapsaddle; brothers, Elliot and Everett; grandparents, Kristen and Robert Okerfelt of Duxbury, MA, Patricia Larason and Ravi Jaisinghani of Durham, NC, Don Clapsaddle and Candice Fonke of Lake Jackson, TX; Uncle Jake Okerfelt, Aunt Allison Merry, and cousins Sophia, Jacob, and Laura of Halifax, MA; Uncle Adam and Aunt Haruka Clapsaddle and cousins Aila and Reina of Osaka, Japan; and Aunt Rachel, Uncle Kyle Frennea and cousins Calliope and Thalia of Portland, OR.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to adapt a swingset in Claire's honor so that kids of all abilities can enjoy the breeze in their hair while swinging.
