Daniel "Buggs" Michel Weiss

Buggs was born June 23, 1957 in France to the late Eugene Adolf Weiss and Gertrude Anna Schmutz Weiss. He worked with IBM both in Europe and the US for close to 30 years. Buggs was most recently employed with UNC Healthcare as a computer specialist. He was a Cary resident for 21 years where he was deeply loved and respected by his family, neighbors, and community.

Buggs is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gillian Weiss; daughter, Sheena Weiss; son, Brendan Weiss; brothers, Pierre Weiss (Daniella) and Rick Weiss (Janet); mother-in-law, Hannah Carroll; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Harte (Jim); Annette Casburn (Paul); Lisa Hughes (Padraigh); brother-in-law, Kevin O'Carroll (Tara); and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
