Dean Lowell Willis

Dean Lowell Willis, 69, passed away at his home in Fuquay Varina, NC on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, He was born in New Hampshire to Lowell and Hazel Willis. Mr. Willis grew up on Marlu Farm in Lincroft, NJ. He had four siblings; Janet, Dawn, Ronald and George "Bucky". Mr. Willis graduated from Middletown High School in New Jersey. He served in the Air Force from 1962 to 1965. Mr. Willis married Elizabeth Worden in 1967. They had two children, Elizabeth and James.

Mr. Willis was active in the Oldsmobile Club of America, NJ Chapter. He spent many years involved in his son's racing career. He enjoyed spending time with his family at various race tracks through the years, and had the recognition of Crew Chief of the Year at Flemington Speedway. He worked and retired from UPS as an Automotive Manager.

Mr. Willis is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Tim; daughter-in-law: Jennifer; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alexis, Bailey, Keara, Jasper and Oliver; sister: Dawn; and brother: Bucky.

Mr. Willis is preceded in death by his son, James in 2010, sister, Janet and brother, Ronald.

Memorial services will be planned for a later date in New Jersey.
