

Denise Tanza Bellantoni, 49, of Holly Springs, NC, formerly of Paramus and Washington Township, NJ, passed away on February 4, 2013, with family at her bedside after a valiant fight against Ovarian Cancer. She is survived by her husband Peter Bellantoni, son PJ (18) and daughter Samantha (11) of Holly Springs. She is also survived by her mother, Joanna Tanza of Washington Twp., NJ, sisters Susan, Renee and husband Chris Tantillo and her nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles, and her in-laws Peter and Jo Bellantoni. She is predeceased by her father Robert L. Tanza of Washington Twp., New Jersey. Her Lord and Savior called upon this angel of his for his other missions.
Denise will always be remembered for her “never give up” attitude. She was a wonderful wife and mother, daughter and sister dedicated to her entire family. She was always so proud of her children and eagerly cheered them on. She was dynamic and energetic. Denise never met a stranger and welcomed all into her home. She will never be forgotten by anyone she touched. She had a wonderful laugh and a smile that would light up a room. Denise was a caring and compassionate woman. Her passion was photography and finding beauty everywhere. Denise previously worked at Progresso, Time Plex, Intercontinental Hotels, Escada, and Polo, Ralph Lauren. She will be greatly missed by all. Many fond memories will be cherished by her beloved family and friends. She hoped her valiant fight, which included numerous therapies and trials will help women around the world with ovarian cancer.
The family will welcome friends on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC. A prayer service will begin at 7:30 pm, Friday. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Rd. Cary, NC Memorial services in Bergen County, New Jersey are pending.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Ovarian Research Fund in honor of Denise Bellantoni would be greatly appreciated.
