Eric Michael Graf, 55 of Holly Springs, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024. Eric was born on December 17, 1968 in Ashtabula, OH to his parents Thomas Joseph and Janet Enos Graf. Eric lived his life with a fun loving spirit, a smile on his face, and a dedication to his family. Married to Carmen Montero Graf for 23 years, she and Eric built a life they loved together.
Eric attended Spencer Elementary for grade school, and graduated from Geneva High School in 1987. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Kent State University in 1993. He was passionate about his chosen field of carpentry, starting a construction business, where he was sought after for his high quality custom work and creativity in design. Eric showcased his work in building his own homes for his family where he would put E ❤️C=5M on drywall and beams during the building process, leaving his mark on each and every home.
Eric was a beloved father to his children, Merrick , Madelyne, McKenna, Mason and Major, fully engaging in their hobbies whether it be being “cheer Dad” for the girls or a dirtbike mechanic for the boys. He enjoyed boating on Lake Harris, tinkering in the garage on projects including having the girls change their brakes on their cars, change their own oil, and showing the boys how to build a dirt bike track with a bobcat. He was hands on and without a doubt dedicated to his family. His hobbies included nature, astronomy, and he was well versed in music and world knowledge. Eric was the man you wanted on your team for game night-he had all of the answers and quite often surprised everyone with his knowledge on diverse topics.
Eric is lovingly remembered by his wife, Carmen Graf; children, Merrick Grace Graf, Madelyne Rae Graf, McKenna Hope Graf, Mason Eric Michael Graf, and Major Thomas Graf; mother, Janet Graf; brothers; Kevin Graf and Todd Graf and nephews Clinton Graf and Zackery Graf.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Joseph Graf; Joe and Lucille Knoke Graf from Listfield, Michigan, paternal grandparents, and Phillip and Teresa Mello Enos from Ashtabula, maternal grandparents.
