Gail Yvonne Greenfield Wert, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, February 11, 2016 at Wake Medical Center. Born on September 17, 1959 in Freeport, IL; she was the daughter of Kenneth and Wilma Duncan Greenfield. She graduated from Forreston High School and attended Brevard Community College in Florida. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Larry Wert; son: Kevin and Samantha Wert; daughter: Kelli Wert; grandchildren: Savannah and Kenadee Wert; brothers: Steven and Pam Greenfield, Lyle and Jeannie Greenfield, Michael and Jan Greenfield, and Dennis Greenfield; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held 3pm-5pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home.
