

MORRISVILLE, NC: Jacqueline Joy Kuhn, 75, known affectionately as “Jackie”, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015. Born on June 18, 1940 in Washington, DC; she was the daughter of Marion David Weide and Ella Elizabeth Criswell Weide.
Jackie retired as a Manager of Customer Service in the Lighting Industry after many years and enjoyed spending her free time with her grandchildren. She was devout in her faith and active in the church for many years. She developed her friends through the church and her love for bowling, playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed vacationing at the beach and fishing with her lifelong friends, Bob and Eileen Gordon and their family. She was an avid Redskin fan and never missed a home game for over fifteen years.
She and her husband relocated to North Carolina approximately six years ago and quickly developed a close circle of friends and was welcomed lovingly into the Morrisville community by her daughter’s friends.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband: Robert “Bob” Kuhn; son: J.D. Kuhn and wife, Alicia, of Potomac Falls, VA; daughter: Tammy Boswell and husband Keith, of Cary, NC; her grandchildren: Ryan and Laura Kuhn and Amanda and Anthony Boswell; and by other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 6th from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at Apex Funeral Home, with Funeral Services to begin at 3:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Amanda Range, of Christ the King Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park in Sykesville, MD on Thursday, September 10th at 11 am, assisted by Eckhardt Funeral Home in Owings Mills, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jackie's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
