James Joseph Lanuti

Jim was a Software Engineer at IBM and an Aviation Simulator Architect at Singer Link. He went to high school in Staten Island, New York and then studied at Siena College, University of Wisconsin, and Binghamton University. His professional career accomplishments took him around the world.

He truly lived life to the fullest—including football, golf, music, puzzles, Italian food, and donuts. But above all, Jim loved God, his wife Kathy, and his entire family. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Mary. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; his children, Jennifer, John, and David; and his siblings Nancy, Tom, and Annie. He was an especially proud grandfather of Mia, CJ, Morgan, Joelle, Christian, and Timothy.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 725 Magdala Pl., Apex, NC 27502 on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
