

Jamileh was born in Ramallah, Jordan, on February 23, 1929, to the late Zakharia Aneed and Miladeh (Kassis) Aneed. Sadallah and Jamileh came to America in 1957, and were married for 51 years before Sadallah passed. Jamileh was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and felt blessed to be with her family and treasured her time with them. She was well-liked by all who knew her, and her favorite hobbies were cooking, walking, swimming, playing Bingo and assorted card games with family and friends!
Jamileh is preceded in death by her husband, Sadallah Elias Taweel; her father, Zakharia Aneed; her mother, Miladeh (Kassis) Aneed; her granddaughter, Alexandra Taweel Mitchell; her brothers, Salem and Saleem; her sisters, Victoria, Saleema, and Nimeh.
Jamileh is survived by her brother Said Aneed; her sons, Louie Taweel and his wife Sylvia, John Taweel and his wife, Sanaa, and David Taweel; her daughter, Samia Saleh; her grandchildren, Sami, Nicole, Jeffrey, Danielle, Dimitri and Joseph; and her 8 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Jack, Alyssa, Nicholas, Harper, Shae, Crawford, and Alexie.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 7, 2021, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and the funeral service will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex, NC 27502. Due to COVID-19, all attendees of Jamileh's services are required to wear a mask at all time and to social distance.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Jamileh Taweel can be made to either: Transitions Hospice, 250 Hospice Cir., Raleigh NC 27607, or All Saints Orthodox Church, 520 Buck Jones Rd. Raleigh, NC 27606.
