Born in Purcell, Oklahoma, January 2, 1969. He was the son of the late James George Bledsoe and Linda Sue Robbins.
Jerry was a big man, with a big heart, who loved life, and who loved big in every way. Jerry was many things in life, he was a hard worker, a protector, a giver, a soldier, a nurse, an entrepreneur, a friend and husband; but the most important thing he did in life was to be a father. He stood up for what he felt was right and never wavered from this. He never met a stranger and brought many people together. Everyone who knew him had tremendous respect for him and knew how much his wife and children meant to him. His main goal in life was to provide for, to protect and to give a better life to his family. Being a father he said, “Is the hardest, but most important thing I’ve ever done”. He dedicated his life to his family, sacrificing so much of himself to try to be with them longer.
He is survived by his mother Linda Robbins, his wife Jamie Bledsoe, his six children, Caitlin De la Rosa (Armando), Brennen Bledsoe, Abigail Bledsoe, Keegan Bledsoe, Gavin Bledsoe, and Gregory Bledsoe; two grandchildren, Ajax and Amalia De la Rosa; two brothers, Steve Bledsoe and Jack Robbins (Holly).
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2 PM at Redeemer Community Church in Fuquay Varina, NC. Private reception to follow for close family and friends.
