John Christien Kinnas

John was born on September 19, 1971 in Pittsfield, MA. He was a graduate of Taconic High School class of 1989 and served in the U.S. Army. An avid golfer, John was a member of The Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) and worked as a golf professional for ten years. Most recently, John was the Director of Golf Events at Stitch Golf.

John was a huge movie fan and a talented singer. He loved music, UNC basketball, and attending his sons' sporting events. He always had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor, and he loved to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Icardi.

John is survived by his wife of 22 years, Heather Wallace Kinnas; sons, Connor Kinnas and Chase Kinnas; father, John Walter Kinnas and his wife, Barbara; sister, Melissa Kinnas Tart and husband, Richard; and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date. We, John's family, appreciate the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time of grief from so many others who loved him.
