Jonathan Michael Hellmann

Jonathan was born February 6, 1991 in Rhinebeck, NY. He was a graduate of Apex High School and attended Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington. Jonathan was employed as a sales associate with Verizon. He had a passion for dogs especially Pit Bulls.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Hellmann; and maternal grandfather, Arthur Woessner.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, John and Jean Woessner Hellmann; sister, Caitlin Hellmann; paternal grandmother, Carmela Hellmann; maternal grandmother, Dorothea Woessner; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held 11am Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the North Carolina Pit Bull Rescue, Durham, NC 27703; or charity of one's choice.
