Katherine P Case

Katherine P. Case, 88, of Apex, went to be with Jesus, Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Ms. Case was born in Canton, Mississippi on June 4, 1923 to Oscar J. Pell, Jr. and Eva Mae Tillman Pell. Ms. Case was a charter member of Pass Road Baptist Church in Gulfport, MS. She loved working with children in VBS. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Moose Lodge. Ms. Case served as a PTA President and was an active member on the board for many years. She enjoyed cheering from the side lines at events for her family. She was a dedicated poll booth volunteer. Ms. Case attended Apex Baptist Church and she cherished her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Ralph H. Case Jr. of Fuquay Varina, NC, her daughter Cheryl Westerfield and husband, Rev. Dave Westerfield of Fuquay Varina, NC; grandchildren, Rhonda Longstreet Stewart (Bill), Ramona Longstreet Eubanks (Yancy), David Longstreet (Karen), Renee' Longstreet Nelson (Brian), Nicki Case Haulman (Mark); great grandchildren,Casey (Kyle), Will, Alex, Kyle, Austin, Cameron, Noah, Levi, Micah, Faith and Ty.

Ms. Case is preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Emma.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Apex Cemetery.
