Kimberley Anne Jinkens, 53, of Apex, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 21, 2015 in the wonderful care of Transitions LifeCare Hospice Home, Raleigh. Born on October 30, 1961 in Baltimore, MD; she was the daughter of the late Adam and Catherine Lang.
Kim is remembered by her husband Ric Jinkens, children: RJ and wife Ashley, Kiel and wife Westee, Sawyer, & Kodi Jinkens, Alex and wife Amy, & Tyler Johnston, grandchildren: Noah, Rieley & Trey Jinkens, Quinn and Holden Johnston, sister: Dabney Lang, brother-in-law: Jeff Jinkens and by her Harris Teeter family.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at her home on Saturday, August 1st, from 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harris Teeter Hugh G. Ashcraft Foundation.
Kim loved being at the beach and more than anything loved being a Mother and Mom Mom to her children and grandchildren. Kim will be remembered as the most selfless, sweet and loving person to everyone who knew her.
