Kirby Ray Davis

Kirby graduated from Butler University in 1978 with a B.S. in pharmacy. He worked for several large healthcare organizations in Indianapolis before coming to North Carolina in 2001. He worked at Duke University for the past 11 years. He was a member of the Sunrise United Methodist Church in Holly Springs, NC. He was also a member of the RTP Corvette Club locally. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather as well as to his entire family. He loved to watch Butler and Duke Basketball as well as being an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.

Kirby is survived by his wife, Kelly Lee Davis; daughters, Molly Alyssa Davis of Holly Springs, NC, Chelsea Elizabeth Davis of Greenwood, IN, and Kristin Renee Scheib (Samuel) of Indianapolis, IN; and grandson, Micah Scheib. His parents, Keith and Delores Davis of Greenfield, IN; brother, Kevin Davis of Westfield, IN and many other loving family members also survive him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. A private Cremation Ceremony will be held at a later time.
