It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kurt Anthony Morin, who departed this life on October 26th, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on November 7th, 1964, in Dover, New Hampshire, he was the son of Richard and Verniel Morin. He graduated from Dover High School in Dover, New Hampshire, in 1983 and went on to earn an engineering degree from the University of New Hampshire four years later. He moved from New Hampshire to the Raleigh, NC area in 1989, and while he loved his life there, he never lost his New England accent and faith in his favorite team, the New England Patriots.
Kurt has worked as a test engineer since 1988 for Dell (formerly Data General and EMC), where he was well known for his motto Doubt Doubts, Feed Faith. Outside of work, Kurt was an avid hunter, fisherman, outstanding pool player, scratch golfer, and he also cherished his 1975 Little League batting award. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Apex, North Carolina. Friends and family will remember him for his faith, determination, tenacity, and generosity.
Kurt is survived by his heartbroken relatives, including his parents, brother Eric Morin, brother Gregg Morin, and his wife Trista, his nieces and nephews Christopher Morin, Nicole and Alyssa Morin, and Michael and Amber Morin. Kurt also left behind many beloved friends, co-workers, and his church family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lionel and Germaine Morin, and his maternal grandparents, Herman and Laura Pittroff.
