Leonard Paul Worzella, 66, of Pittsboro, died Saturday, January 22, 2011. He was born in Chicago, IL on November 25, 1944 to Andrew Worzella and Grace Tork Worzella. Mr. Worzella outdoors man, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He was huge Packer fan, a “Cheese Head”.
He is survived by his fiancée, Cathy Andrews of Pittsboro; son: Paul Worzella and wife Christina of Indianapolis, IN; daughters: Amy Koch and husband Mark of Rockton, IL and Andrea Frank and husband, Jon of Antioch, IL; grandchildren: Samantha, Alyssa, Logan, Gavin, Alina, Griffin, Anika, Alex, and Zander. He is also survived by his brothers: Emil Worzella and wife Jeanie, Larry Worzella and wife Janie, Norman Worzella all of Wisconsin; and sisters: Carol Laskowski and husband Chet, and Karen Roland and husband, Kevin all of Wisconsin.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home.
