He is survived by his son: John Pierce of Colorado Springs, CO; daughters: Renee Taylor and husband, Mark of Oak Island, NC; and Georgia Copeland and husband, Charles of Apex; sisters: Mary Linda West and husband, Kenneth of Apex, and Janet Bell of Midlothian, VA. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Lynne Pierce of Apex and his 6 cherished grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Friday, March 15, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Apex Funeral Home.
