Mildred was a long time member of the Apex Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society, the Golden Age Club, and loved flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her sons Edward G. Riggsbee and his wife Pamela of Siler City, NC, David W. Riggsbee of New Hill, NC, Neil Riggsbee, and Craig Riggsbee, both of Charlotte, NC, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Haywood Riggsbee.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11 AM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow immediately following the service in Apex Cemetery.
