Nancy Ann Karras

Nancy was born October 17, 1957 in Cleveland, OH to the late Wesley and Pamela Zaylor Novak. She was graduate of Brecksville High School in Brecksville, OH. Nancy was owner of Patio Enclosures Inc of Raleigh with her husband, Bill. You may remember Nancy managed the Cary ACE Hardware store for over 15 years. She was involved with CASL, Raleigh Spartans and Cardinal Gibbons High School. If she was not at a sports field with her kids or grandchildren you would find her at Lake Gaston.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bill Karras; daughter, Kelly A. Sheehan and husband, Michael; son, Joseph P. Karras and wife, Renee; brothers, Joel and Wesley Novak; sister Barbara Novak; and six grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Brayden, Mason, Walker and Ava.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3pm Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Jimmy V. Foundation.
