Richard was born January 15, 1942 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Patrick and Marie DiAugustine. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and Tulane Medical School and post graduate of the University of Iowa. Richard was employed with the National Institutes of Environmental Health and Sciences as a Biochemical Pharmacologist retiring with many years of service.
Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan Beatty DiAugustine; sons, Richard Perry DiAugustine (Takako) and Michael Brian DiAugustine (Sajida); two grandchildren, Richard Anthony DiAugustine and Hana Sophia DiAugustine.
A graveside service will be held 3pm Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Apex Cemetery, 100 Upchurch Street, Apex, NC 27502.
