Richard Paul (Dick) Maloney, 77, died Wednesday. A native of Chester Pennsylvania, he was son to the late Francis & Catherine Maloney. He served during the Korean War in the US Navy. Dick was also preceded in death by his son, Michael F. Maloney.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie, and his children; a son, Richard Maloney, a daughter Michele Record, stepsons Jody and Gary Becker and a stepdaughter Lisa Becker. Dick is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Stephanie, Alexis, Meghan, Jennifer, Lindsey, Nicole and Natalie.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 7, 2012. at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex NC. A reception will be held at the funeral home immediately following the service.
The family request memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Wake County.
