Rosie is survived by her mother: Minnie Flint Olson, of Arkansas City, KS; brother: Kenneth Volkland and wife, Ida, of Wichita, KS; children: Julie Pease and husband, Steve, Geneva, IL, Dick Watson, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Mt. Morris, IL, Merri Lea Metcalf and husband, Craig, of Cary, and Teresa Watson, of Chapel Hill. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Carl Olson.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. Burial will follow in Wake Memorial Park, Cary.
