Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra Clark Smith; sons: Joey Lee Smith and wife Elisabeth of Fuquay Varina, Kenneth Roy Smith and wife Tonya of Zebulon, and Steven Michael Heinzel and wife Heather of Durham; and his four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters: Mary S. Page of New Hill, Gloria Faucette of Pittsboro, and Jo Ann Evans of Sanford.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Good Hope Baptist Church, Good Hope Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519. A funeral will begin at 3:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Good Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
