He is survived by his mother, Patsy Yates of Apex; father, Clifton Prince of Cary; sisters, Sandra Cooper of Clayton and Sonya Prince of Holly Springs; niece, Stephanie Jones and great nephew, Caiden Jones. He also leaves behind his special dogs, Tippy and Blondie and his goat, Billy.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Green Level Baptist Church, 8509 Green Level Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Gloria Taylor, Nancy Fish, and all Sammy’s close friends who helped during his time of need.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake Co. and Green Level Baptist Church.
