Sherry Candy Lane, 74, of Apex, NC passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, on the Advent Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, after a heroic struggle with ALS. She was surrounded by loving and caring family and staff at Transitions Life Center.
Sherry was born on September 21, 1948 in West Branch, MI to the late Grover E. Candy and Betty J. McVicker. She is survived by her husband, Ed Lane, Sr., their 6 children, and 4 grandchildren. Sherry has inspired many with her devotion to the Catholic faith and through her art and work.
Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St. Matthew's in Durham, NC. In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to the ALS Association North Carolina Chapter. https://www.als.org/north-carolina
