Stafford Allen Patterson II

Denise Rhodes. His father was the late Joseph D. Patterson Sr and his mother is Jane T. Patterson of Smithfield, NC. Allen passed peacefully with family surrounding on December 31st, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He graduated from Mount Airy in 1972, Guilford College with a football scholarship in 1976 as an exceptional football player then went on to graduate Campbell law, class of 1980.

Allen on his free time loved to be near the water, with family and always planned his next project. He touched lives everywhere he went and always had a positive outlook on everything he did. He never complained nor took life for granted.

Allen survived by his 3 sons Ford, Thomas and Cole of Raleigh; daughters Rachel and Meredith of Rocky Point; two grandsons Bryson and Ricky of Rocky Point and granddaughter Mattie of Raleigh. Along with his two sisters Patricia Jane of Washington, NC and Lin Patterson of Wilson-Salem; brother Jody Patterson of Raleigh, NC.

A celebration of his wonderful life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Apex Funeral Home 550 W. Williams St. Apex, NC 27502.
