Thomas A Wray

Thomas” Buddy” Alton Wray, of Apex, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. He was born in Northampton Co. NC on November 29, 1937 to Walter Jackson Wray and Orie Floyd Wray. Mr. Wray was a driver with Trailways Bus Line for 34 years. He attended Bible Baptist Church in Creedmoor for 27 years where he was also a greeter for the church. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Faye F. Wray; sons: David Cash of Apex, and Stacey Sears and wife Ginny of Apex; brother: Harold Wray of Gaston; sisters: Darella Justice of Roanoke Rapids and Polly Dickerson of Seaboard. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Lauren, Hailey and Stone Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Apex Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 2047 Gate Number Two Road, Creedmoor, NC 27522 for the Building Fund or the Library Fund.
