Vickie Ann Baker Moore

Vickie Ann Baker Moore, 76, of Morrisville died at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Mrs. Moore was born in Wake County, NC on December 29, 1937 to Garland Clifton Baker and Ethel Lee Baker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Moore, and daughters: Sharon Renee Moore and Phyllis Ann Barefoot.

She is survived by her sons: Clifton Moore and Christopher Moore; daughters: Lee Linville (Wayne) of Morrisville, LaVerne Berry of Morrisville, and Elizabeth “Dee” May (Scott) of Waynesboro, VA; grandchildren: Tammy Simpson, Dusty Yarbrough, Adam Barefoot, Brandon Moore, Dale Berry, and Paradise May; and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and their children.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the home and 12:30 to 1:30 pm Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home.

Graveside service 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Apex Cemetery, Apex. Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Moore, Brandon Moore, Dale Berry, Jeremy Simpson, Bill Fuller, and Austin Simpson.
