William Maskes McLamb

William Maskes McLamb, 77, of Cary, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. McLamb was born in Johnston Co, NC on March 28, 1935 to Arthur Daniel McLamb and Vonnie Odell Parker McLamb.

He is survived by his former wife and life-long friend, Margaret Wood McLamb of Kenly; daughter: Judy Holhfeldt and husband, Joe of Westwood, CA; sons: Ronnie McLamb and wife, Cindy of Cary, Ernie McLamb of Cary, and Todd McLamb of Pittsboro; and his grandchildren: Wesley McLamb and Fiancée, Allison, Lt. Brandon McLamb, Jeff McLamb, and Mary McLamb. He is also survived by sisters, Louise Wallace of Hampton, VA, Nancy McLamb of Benson, Florence McLamb of FL, and Patricia Capps of Four Oaks.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Keith Vaughn will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Good Hope Baptist Church, 6628 Good Hope Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park, Raleigh.
