Retired elementary school Teacher, farming and packing Industry worker, Seamstress, Alejandra Chavez Guzman, passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 71, after a courageous battle with severe rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's dementia. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her by living their lives to the fullest. She was born on January 28, 1953, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. She was 5th of 9 children born to late Tata Manuel Chavez DeMara and late Nana Leonor (Reyna) Guzman Fierro.
After graduating from preparatory school, Alejandra chased her dreams to become an Educator. She met her late husband, Francisco Del Rello Real, a few years after completing college. They had one child: Alejandra Del Rello Chavez, now Alejandra Del Rello Peach.
As a skilled Teacher, she made a positive impact in the lives of her students. She made lifelong friendships everywhere she went. She kept friendships with people from her childhood, coworkers, and neighbors. Her "find another way and never quit" approach to life gave her strength to valiantly face life's challenges to the best of her abilities. Maintaining close relationships with esteemed friends and loved ones was a priority of hers, and she devoted much of her time to securing that. She firmly believed that “good friendships come when you least expect it and when you most need them.” That is her legacy. Later in life, she experienced a greater love, that of being present and loved by her only grandchildren, Daniela & Carlos Peach, for most of their life. Her interests included sewing, gardening, and traveling.
Alejandra is survived by her only child, Alejandra Del Rello Peach (46yrs old), and her two grandchildren, Daniela (8yrs old) & Carlos (5yrs old) Peach.
A Graveside and Memorial Service is scheduled for 1 pm on January 6, 2025 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
A Celebration of her Life Wake will follow at The Peach Residence for those who wish to continue expressing their support and share their stories about Alejandra. 🕊
