Anna Joy Montgomery (Gann)

Joy Montgomery entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2016. She was born in Los Banos, California to Ralph and Anna Gann. Joy met and married Joe Cross Montgomery in 1947, they were blessed with four children. Joy was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her parents Anna and Ralph Gann and her sister Pauline and her husband Joe Lanneo.

Joy worked in the convalescent wing as the assistant activities director at Lindsay District Hospital. She was very caring and compassionate with the residents. First and foremost in Joy's life was the love and devotion to her family.

She enjoyed the many family gatherings that she hosted in her home in Lindsay, California. She moved to Apple Valley in 1990, where she spent the remainder of her years. She joined the Church of the Valley and became part of the many ministries there. She had a strong passion for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Joy is survived by her son, Ted Montgomery of Burllington, WA, daughter Penny Andreson (Al) of Apple Valley, CA, daughter Elaine Jackson (Tom) of VIsalia, CA and son Tom Montgomery (Char) of Exeter, CA. She also leaves ten grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, many relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on 17 June 2016 at 11am at the Lindsay-Strathmore Memorial Cemetery in Lindsay, California.
