Cameron Glen Pratt

Cameron Glen Pratt, 42 years of age, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 7, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Melissa Pratt. They shared 15 years of marriage together.

Born in Victorville, CA, Cameron was the eldest of five siblings to Glen and Donne Pratt. Cameron was a 1996 graduate of Serrano High School where he played varsity basketball and participated in the school choir. Cameron learned the importance of hard work at a young age. He became an Eagle Scout at the age of 13, and developed a love of working on cars and motorcycles.

Cameron was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the age of 19, he served a two-year mission in Birmingham, England. Upon his return, he attended Utah Valley University, graduating with a Bachelors in Business Management.

After graduation, he found and married the love of his life, Melissa in 2005. Together they have two children. A son, Caleb, age 14 and a daughter, Leighton, age 11. Cameron was a family man. They enjoyed camping, visiting national parks, riding quads, and working in the yard together. Cameron’s favorite place to be was home with his family.

Cameron dedicated his life to serving those around him. In his professional life, he was a Deputy Sheriff. Serving his local community as a 15-year veteran of the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department. In his personal life, he dedicated himself to his family and church. He served in his local congregation in any capacity he was asked. He especially loved working with the youth. He recently mentored 11 boys, including his son, in receiving their Eagle Scout rank this last year. Cameron had a deep love for his Savior Jesus Christ and tried to live his life in accordance, by loving and serving those he came in contact with.
