Catherine Anne Savage

Catherine Anne Savage, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Hesperia, California, on July 6, 2025, with her devoted husband by her side. She was 73.

Born on August 15, 1951, to Arthur and Joanne Olson, Cathy was known for her generous spirit, remarkable sewing talent, and sharp sense of humor. She had a deep and unwavering commitment to caring for others—always ensuring that no need went unmet and no detail was overlooked.

After retiring in 2017 from a successful career in advertising sales with the phone company, Cathy poured her time and energy into causes close to her heart. She became a dedicated advocate for cancer survivors, supporting both the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and High Desert Cancer Connection. She also found great joy and community among her friends in the Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group fitness crew, with whom she shared years of laughter, encouragement, and cherished memories. Both groups will deeply feel her absence.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Jerome Savage, Jr., and her four daughters:

• Jennifer Ayala, and grandchildren Alejandra and Anthony

• Rebecca Savage, and grandchildren Marcus and Miranda

• Theresa Riley and her husband Bob Riley, and grandchildren Ella, Audrey, and Vivian

• Dana Savage

She also leaves behind six sisters, along with many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held on July 21 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary in Apple Valley, CA. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Following the ceremony, we will be hosting a reception for fellowship together.
