On June 16th, 2016, David Kent Owen left this world peacefully to dance with the angels, surrounded by those who loved him most. His playful grin and his love for life were contagious, and we loved him for it. He was a devoted and loyal son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and mentor.
David loved his homes, and took care to decorate them with handpicked pieces of driftwood, rocks, candles, and his passion, the sound of music.
Choosing the best of both worlds, winters were spent in Apple Valley, CA, where he loved the peaceful desert nights, and summers at the place that had his heart, his ranch in Montana.
David will be missed by his wife Carol of 25 years, mother Virginia, daughter Amanda (Ross) grandchildren Lylah, Sofia, Ava. Stepson Joseph and grandchildren Emily, Hailey, Michael, Mason. His special dog KoKo, Granddaughter Ashlee and great grandson Ashtin; brother Gregory, and many others whose lives he touched.
David was reunited in heaven with his father CW Owen, daughter Suzanne and stepson Mikey.
