With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Enedine Sandra Pacheco, who left this world on April 9, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on September 10, 1950, Ena lived a life full of love, faith, and compassion. She was a true free spirit whose warmth and kindness could be felt by everyone she met.
For over 30 years, Ena devoted herself to working as a special needs paraeducator. She poured her heart into her students, offering patience, understanding, and unconditional care. The lives she touched through her work and her presence are countless, and her impact will live on in each of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Cristal Lobato; her husband, John Soto; her sister, Ramona Bourgeois; her son, Mark Raymond Soto; her granddaughter, Alyssa Soto; and her stepson, David Pacheco Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Pacheco; her children, Johnny “Bubba” Soto (Stephanie), Eddie Soto (Jennifer), and Mark Soto (Denise); her siblings Cindy Burg (Ed), Ray Lobato and Edwin Lobato; and her stepchildren, Dino Pacheco and Sharlotte Cordova. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Johnny III (Priscilla), Ashley, Rayna, Matthew, Alexis (Harley), Eddie Boy (Nancy), Ryan, Adrian, Audrey, Jason, Joseph, Emmanuel, Josiah, Noah, and Eli, along with 20 great-grandchildren who brought her endless pride and joy.
Ena’s greatest love was her family. They were her heart, her purpose, and her proudest accomplishment. Her faith guided her life and gave her strength, and she carried that light into everything she did. She found peace in her art, joy in her garden, and happiness in traveling to the beach, where the ocean became her place of comfort and renewal.
She will be forever remembered for her warm, comforting hugs, her infectious laughter, her playful sense of humor, and her unwavering positivity. Ena had a beautiful way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. She was a constant source of encouragement, always lifting others up and cheering them on with a full and open heart.
Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will continue to surround her family and friends every day. Her spirit, her strength, and her light will never be forgotten.
Flowers may be sent to Sunset Hills Memorial in Apple Valley, California, in care of Ena Pacheco. Please have them delivered by May 15, 2026, in time for the service on May 16, 2026.
