

Jerry was born in Worcester Massachusetts on February 27th 1945. He graduated with a Bachelor of English degree from St. Edwards University in Austin Texas in 1967. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971 and was a Vietnam veteran (1969 to 1970). He graduated from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 1974. He worked at St Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley as an O.R. nurse for 34 years.
Jerry enjoyed camping trips, going to the beach, listening to music, photography, and riding his motorcycle. He was kind and had a good sense of humor, always joking around. He was a loving husband and father. He belonged to Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church, was a lector, and a member of The Knights of Columbus. Most importantly Jerry knew and loved the Lord. He always put God first in his life, praying often, and giving thanks.
Jerry is survived by his sons Joshua and Matthew, daughter in law Marlina, and grandchildren Andrew, David, and Alanna.
