Lillian Tuccillo of Apple Valley passed away peacefully on July 12, 2016. She was born in New York City in 1918 to a loving Italian family who didn't have much but they had each other during the Great Depression. She was a wonderful sister and good friend to many. A devoted wife, she met the love of her life John and they married in 1941. Soon their daughter Mary Ann was enjoying a beautiful childhood in Brooklyn, New York. Lillian had a special skill as a seamstress and by the time the family moved to California, she managed an entire floor of workers at a backpack company. She also devoted much of her time and energy creating decorations for the Saint Joseph's Table at her church. Grandma Lee, as we called her, always made us kids and great-grandkids feel special. We will miss her smile and laughter, her can-do spirit, and her delicious cheesecake. Her services will be conducted by Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley.
