

Born on May 29, 1966, at General Hospital in Los Angeles, California, Norma was the beloved daughter of Estela and Gabriel Angel Valenzuela. She grew up as the second youngest of nine siblings in William Mead Homes, famously known as THE DOGTOWN PROJECTS, where she developed her lifelong passion for sports, particularly softball, and a knack for doodling cars.
In adulthood, Norma proudly raised three daughters: Jazmine, Candice, and Vanessa. She cherished her role as a grandmother to eight grandchildren: Isaiah, Elijah, Mikaelah, Joaquin, Juan, Jeronimo, Jimmy, and Jonah, who affectionately knew her as "HAMMA." Norma delighted in boasting about her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Known for her friendly and talkative nature, she was quick-witted and had a nickname for everyone she met—reflecting her vibrant personality.
Norma will be fondly remembered for her unconditional love and fierce loyalty to her family. She had a unique ability to bring joy with her humor and could always be counted on for a good laugh. Her legacy of love and laughter lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation for Norma will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Hills Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. A graveside service will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at External Service Location, 24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
