Rod “Grumpy” Oyer passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 63, in Apple Valley, California. He inherited a love for racing and a passion for fast cars and speed boats. He was a Mopar Man who finally owned his dream car. Most everyone can remember Rod treating them to fine dining at In-N-Out Burger. Rod is survived by two sons, Coty Oyer and wife of Cincinnati, OH, and Cory Oyer of Apple Valley, CA; grandchildren, Nieko, Baylyn, Elias and Angelina; one sister and one niece, Pam and Whitney Mills of Cache, OK. He shared his love with his extended family, wife Roxanne Mishler, daughter Devon Unland and husband Jeremy, and grandchildren, Bryson and Addison. And, not to go unmentioned is the four legged love of his life, Penny Oyer. Rod will be honored with memorial services at Sunset Hills Memorial Park located at 24000 Waalew Road in Apple Valley on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 1 PM. A celebration of his life will be held at his home in Apple Valley following the services.
