

Sergio Giovanni Fabbri was born June 1st, 1943 in Lucca, Italy to Ghilardo and Memi Fabbri. He spent most of his youth in South America and Europe before he immigrated to America in 1956 on the SS Cristoforo Colombo, arriving at Ellis Island.
At the age of 18, Sergio enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1961 to 1964.
In 1966, Sergio met his beloved wife of 50 years, Carmen, and they married in 1967. Throughout their early years together, they raised three children Gina, Kristin & Brian, in Southern California, eventually settling in Apple Valley.
Sergio worked for family in the statuary business before obtaining a job with Roadway Express in Los Angeles where he retired from in 2003 after 24 years of service.
Sergio was an avid collector of many things. He also enjoyed auctions and yard sales where he obtained treasures of many sorts. He also enjoyed yard work and had a green thumb for growing a variety of plants, cactus being his favorite.
Sergio passed away at his home of 31 years on May 1st, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ghilardo and Memi Fabbri.
He is survived by his Wife Carmen; Children Gina Fabbri (Tracy), Kristin Smith (Rick) and Brian Fabbri; Grandchildren Danielle Machado (Matt), Corey & Jaden Smith and Baylee & Nicolo Fabbri; Great-grandchildren Madison, Audryna, Nixon and Lincoln; Brother Roland Fabbri and many family members and friends.
Sergio will forever be in our hearts.
Services will be held Friday, June 1st, 2018 at 11am at Sunset Hills, reception to follow at the home of Rick and Kristin.
